When the national economy is cranking out jobs, Atlanta may be one of the best places to own an apartment in the country. But the city can also fall victim to overbuilding. So, when job losses mount and oversupply piles up, it's a recipe for disaster. And, that's what we've seen for most of the past year in the market. That's why an article in today's Atlanta Journal-Constituion caught my eye. Respected research firm MPF Research, says the market absorbed 2,970 apartments during the April-June time frame. That was the positive quarterly demand since late 2007.
